About this tour
Everything the ranch does, in one day. You ride the mountain on horseback, drive the jungle by ATV and cross the canopy on seven ziplines — three completely different ways of seeing the same piece of the Sierra Madre, and the reason this is the tour people describe afterwards as the best day of the trip.
The horses take the river trail and the climb to the hidden waterfall, over the hanging bridges strung across the ravine, with a swim in the pool at the base. The ATVs take the dirt: mango groves, river crossings and the ridgelines with the valley below. The ziplines take the air, platform to platform across the valley with a guide at both ends of every cable.
Between the activities there is a Mexican cooking class with the ranch kitchen and lunch with open bar under the palapa. It is a genuinely full day — you leave Vallarta at 9 AM and get back around 3 PM having done three tours, eaten well and covered ground most visitors never see.

- Pickup in VallartaCollected at 9:00 AM from the agreed meeting point and driven about 45 minutes up into the Sierra Madre.
- Horseback to the fallsWranglers match you with a horse for the river trail, the hanging bridges and the waterfall swim.

What to bring
Long trousers or leggings are the best call — they work on the horse, on the ATV and in the harness. Closed sneakers are required, and a bandana or buff helps with the trail dust. Bring a swimsuit and towel for the waterfall, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and a little cash for tips. Long hair is easier tied back under the helmet. Leave sandals, flip-flops and loose jewellery at the hotel.

Frequently asked questions
Is three activities in one day realistic?
Yes — this is the ranch's signature day and the schedule is built around it. Each activity runs at its own pace with breaks in between, and lunch splits the day. You are back in Puerto Vallarta by mid-afternoon.
Do I need experience with any of them?
No. Horses, ATVs and ziplines all start with a briefing and a practice run, and guides stay with the group throughout. Most guests arrive having done none of the three.
Can someone in my group skip one activity?
Yes. It is common for one person to sit out the ATV or the ziplines and wait at the ranch. Tell us when you book and we will price the group accordingly.
Is there a weight or age limit?
Riders from about 6 years old, a maximum of around 250 lb (113 kg) for the harness and saddle, and ATV drivers must be 16 or older. Limits come from the equipment and are confirmed when you book.
Is this better value than booking separately?
Considerably. At $195 USD you get all three tours plus the cooking class, lunch with open bar and transport — well under the price of the three bought individually.
Is transport from my hotel included?
Round-trip transport from the agreed meeting points in Puerto Vallarta is included. If you are staying outside the usual zones, tell us where and we will confirm the closest pickup.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain does not stop the day and the jungle is at its best in the wet season. Only lightning or heavy storms cause a hold or reschedule, and we tell you as early as we can.
